Jack Ringenberg Media series, “Media Minds”, receives NATAS nomination

Today, April 25, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and the Lower Great Lakes Chapter announced their 2023 Student Production Award nominees.
Through their co-production studio, CHTV, Jack Ringenberg Media was able to submit their award winning series, Media Minds to this competition. The series is being nominated for the “High School Non-Fiction - Short Form” category.
“I am so honored to have received this nomination,” said series creator, Jack Ringenberg, “You know, this competition is huge and for us to have even been nominated is just a testament to the hard work that is being put into all Jack Ringenberg Media projects. This is also a really big deal because this is only one step down from the non-student Emmys.”
Media Minds is the hit Jack Ringenberg Media original series that initially made its debut in December 2023. Since then, the series has gone on to win state and national awards from the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters and the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System. The series description on Apple Podcast reads, “From the studio that brought you The Jack Ringenberg Show and The CHTV Archives comes an all-new original podcast, Media Minds! Join Jack in this 3-part series as he sits down with college-aged students who do freelance media work with their media companies. In each episode, Jack will learn the stories of the people he's interviewing and in the end will try to learn what it takes to create meaningful videos, photos, and music. This is Media Minds.”
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.
